"I've been with animal rescue station for over a month now, and this is my third post about her. The purpose is to update everyone that I'm still alive, even though I'm not fully recovered and still have to endure pain due to daily injections of antiseptic, 3-4 times a day. But I'm making positive progress all over my body. The ulcers no longer ooze pus and emit the odor of necrosis. Instead, they have turned into hard scaly spots with some raised, non-healing skin, forming scars.
I'm still irritable because I'm in pain, but I do wag my tail every time I'm taken outside for toileting or given delicious food in front of my kennel. The doctor updated that I'm eating well, sometimes even better than usual because even on days when my whole body is covered in painful cracks, I don't leave a single kibble in my bowl. I eat a lot, so I pee and poop a lot, and every time my diaper overflows, the urine and feces soak my genital area. Every time, itchy down there, I scratch it, my tail starts wagging, I apply ointment for a whole week until it heals, and then I see my "tail" getting shorter every week. It's both heartwarming and funny. Huhu.
Inside my nose, there's also a growth that blocks part of my airway, so I sometimes breathe like a bulldog with a wheezing sound. We are planning to surgically remove the growth to clear my airway, but that requires transferring me to a higher-quality hospital where they can use general anesthesia...
Last month, everyone supported Trạm with the expenses for her skin cancer treatment, buying special ointments and medications. I hope everyone can support me with the expenses for the second month of treatment. I've been given a chance to live, and now I'm asking for your help to be able to breathe normally again. Thank you, everyone!"
